Setting Up IPTV on Android TV

Prerequisites An active IPTV UK Provider subscription and an Android TV device or Android-based box connected to Wi-Fi.

Step-by-step setup

Open the Google Play Store

From your Android TV home screen, open the Play Store app.

Choose your app

Install one of 9Xtream IPTV, IBO Player, CR7 IPTV Player, or XCIPTV Player directly from the Play Store.

Select Go to download and install the 8K Player app.

Sign in and enter your playlist details

Open your chosen app, sign in with your account, then paste your M3U URL exactly as provided:

Which Android TV devices are supported?

Any device running Android TV or Google TV — including many recent Sony, TCL, and Philips televisions, plus standalone boxes like the NVIDIA Shield — will work.

Common mistake Only install the Downloader app from the official Google Play Store listing — searching for the code inside an unrelated app store won't work.
