Setting Up IPTV on Firestick and Other Streaming Devices

Prerequisites An active IPTV UK Provider subscription and a Firestick, Fire TV Cube, or similar streaming device connected to Wi-Fi.

Firestick doesn’t use the Google Play Store, so we install our official app using the Downloader app instead.

Step-by-step setup

Install Downloader

From your Firestick home screen, search for and install Downloader (by AFTVnews) from the Amazon Appstore.

Enter the install code

Open Downloader and enter this code:

Select Go, then follow the prompts to install the 8K Player app.

Sign in and enter your playlist details

Open the app, sign in with your account, then paste your M3U URL exactly as provided:

http://line.example-cdn.tv/get.php?username=YOUR_USERNAME&password=YOUR_PASSWORD&type=m3u_plus

Which streaming devices are supported?

Amazon Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Cube are fully supported using the steps above.

Helpful tip Plug your streaming device directly into a wall socket rather than a TV's USB port where possible — it gives more stable power and smoother playback.

Common mistake Only install Downloader from the official Amazon Appstore listing by AFTVnews — avoid any similarly named app from an unofficial source.
